| BELPHEGOR CRACKS AMERICAN
HEATSEEKER CHARTS AT # 48! |
"BLOOD
MAGICK NECROMANCE", the ninth full-length album from
death metal titans BELPHEGOR, sold around 1,000 copies in
the United States in its first week of release. The album
landed at position No. 48 on the Top New Artist Albums [Heatseekers]
chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing
artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top
100 of The Billboard 200. |

| FORCED TO MISS SHOWS ON UPCOMING
NORTH AMERICAN RAID! |
BELPHEGOR is being forced to
miss the first eleven shows of its previously announced "God
Is Dead - To Hell With God Tour" with DEICIDE due to visa
issues. The band will now start the trek in Chicago, Illinois
at Reggie's on February 26.
Helmuth states: "Due to circumstances beyond the band’s
control we are being forced to miss eleven shows, since we were
initially not given the green light to enter the country" |

online blog to debut the title track off the band’s
upcoming album at this

BELPHEGOR frontman/ guitar shredder had this to say about
"BLOOD MAGICK NECROMANCE":
“17 years of musick and chaos, and BELPHEGOR is
still here to celebrate death/ black metal art. The title
track is a seven minute opus, we worked eight months on this
complex hymn. And arranged acribical everything in detail.
You will find everything here: spoken words, orchestrations,
chants, choirs, grunts, acoustic guitars, doom parts which
turn to ultra blastbeats.
The most difficult, varied track we’ve ever created.
"BLOOD MAGICK NECROMANCE" is a very dangerous and
magnificent song on the new BELPHEGOR album. It’s exactly
how we wanted to sound in 2011.”

| BELPHEGOR "IMPALED UPON
THE TONGUE OF SATHAN" VIDEO TO PREMIERES TODAY |
Kings of supreme
death/black metal, BELPHEGOR, have uploaded the video clip
for
“IMPALED UPON THE TONGUE OF SATHAN“ music video
to the following location www.bloody-disgusting.com.
The clip was shot and edited this past October by director
Alexander König in Abtenau, Austria. Keeping with the
concept of the forthcoming "BLOOD MAGICK NECROMANCE",
album the crew went through over 60 liters of fresh blood
within two nights of shooting. Smashing all oppressive morals
with anti-Christian sentiment, the band presents a raw look
at depraved blood rites which celebrate the liberation of
man through death.
As Serpenth previously stated: “The clip aims
to strip down the viewer's psyche with an onslaught of sadistic
sex, musick and magick. The ritual action caught on tape was
also inspired in part by the world famous works of Viennese
Actionists such as Hermann Nitsch and Gunter Brus. Rachael
Kozak took over the role of the possessed Sukkubus.
As Pro-Domina she was perfect and totally into the role."
The album will be released on January 14th, 2011 in Europe
and on February 8th, 2011 in North America!
